Downtown Portland Restauranteurs nominated for James Beard Awards!

Downtown Portland continues its reign as a foodie mecca!

Congratulations to Krista Kern Dejarlais of Bresca and Sam Hayward of Fore Street.

Kern Desjarlais was nominated as Best Chef in the Northeast.  Previous downtown Portland winners of this award include Rob Evans of Hugos, and Sam Hayward of Fore Street.  This year, Hayward is nominated as Outstanding Chef, and will be competing with chefs from across the country.  His restaurant, Fore Street, is nominated for Outstanding Restaurant!
